Canadian Beef Industry Conference Highlights

What a wonderful week we had at the Canadian Beef Industry Conference!

The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB)  would like to congratulate The Environmental Stewardship Award (TESA) recipient, Wray Ranch, as well as all of the provincial winners! The CRSB is proud to support an award that recognizes all of the efforts producers do to ensure sustainability of their operations. With over 600 attendees at this years Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC) it was great to connect with industry folks and producers from across Canada. The CRSB sponsored a session featuring Dr. Sarah Place on beef sustainability considerations and trends. Sarah is an Associate Professor at Colorado State University with an impressive background in many different aspects of the industry. The CRSB appreciated her taking time out of her schedule to come up and spend some time with us!

The CRSB also  had our booth set up for this years tradeshow and enjoyed engaging in conversations around beef sustainability. Thank you to Chop Steakhouse and Bar for providing us with a dinner for 4 experience as a giveaway.

The CRSB had a busy yet rewarding time at this years Canadian Beef Industry Conference. It is always enjoyable reconnecting with those in the Canadian beef industry and beyond. Looking forward to next year’s conference in Saskatoon, SK – can’t wait to see you there!
