CRSB has an online inventory of projects that contribute to continuous improvement of beef production across Canada. This inventory provides information for interested stakeholders, listing projects by location, goal and target audience. The value of this inventory is transparent communication to all about sustainability work being done, aligning efforts across groups, and avoiding duplication.

To keep the inventory current, and to support improvements in future updates of the National Beef Sustainability Assessments (NBSA), CRSB profiles projects that build on the following goals identified in the National Beef Sustainability Strategy, identified via an annual survey.

Criteria and Process

Participants:

This survey is open to all, including CRSB members and non-members. We encourage you to share the survey to your contacts and partners with whom you have projects that contribute to continuous improvement of beef production across Canada.

* Projects submitted do not need to be connected to existing CRSB projects or initiatives.

*Please note that each individual project requires a separate survey form.  If you have multiple projects to submit, please ensure to complete a separate online form for each.  Once you click SUBMIT SURVEY, you will be able to clear the form for additional project submissions.

Inclusion in Online Projects Inventory

Projects will be evaluated based on documentation submitted through the online survey, with priority given to projects that meet multiple goals and align with CRSB priorities. Projects that meet the necessary requirements will be reviewed by the CRSB Scientific Advisory Committee, where approval for inclusion in CRSB’s inventory webpage will be given.

CRSB reserves the right to exclude any project for any reason based upon the discretion of the Scientific Advisory Committee.

Criteria for recognition in online Project Inventory

The participating organization acknowledges that inclusion of a project on the CRSB website is intended solely for the purpose of supporting communication and networking efforts within the Canadian beef sustainability community.  Such acknowledgement in no way whatsoever constitutes an agreement by the CRSB to fund the project set forth in the sustainability project inventory; any implication is unauthorized and invalid.
