UPDATE: CRSB Semi-Annual Meeting going ahead as online event
We hope you are all healthy and safe. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to shift the 2020 CRSB Semi-Annual Meeting online, to be held via GoToMeeting. We hope you will all join us. To make registration easier, we have separated into two different events – we invite you to attend any or both. Updated agendas to be posted here as they become available.

This event is for everyone across the beef value chain and beyond who are invested in the sustainability of the Canadian beef industry. All are welcome, whether CRSB members or not, and we welcome participation by observers.

What if I had already registered?
Registered attendees have been issued refunds, which should be processed within the next 7 days, and you should have received a confirmation email that a refund has been issued. We ask you to kindly re-register for the webinar(s) if you plan to join via webinar.
Revised Agenda
All CRSB committees as well as Council will be meeting on March 31st via webinar. Meetings will be held in the following order, as previously scheduled with committee meetings in the morning, and Council in the afternoon:
- Scientific Advisory Committee
- Certified Sustainable Beef Framework Committee
- Communications & Marketing Committee
- Council (afternoon)
If you are a committee member, please plan to attend your own committee meetings to ensure we have quorum.
Specific times for each meeting will be scheduled so you know when each one will begin and end. A pre- and post-meeting survey will help us collect information previously planned for breakout discussions during the event, and live polling will be utilized during the webinars.
The sustainability goals workshop has shifted into separate shorter webinars, one for each of the key topics identified throughout the month of April.

- Land Use & its role in the food system (TBD)
- Biodiversity (TBD)
- Animal Care (TBD)
The April 1st webinar (separate registration required) will tackle the greenhouse gases goal, including a presentation, moderated discussion using the webinar Q&A chat function, and live polling to gather feedback and direction on various goal options.
The agenda will be updated, and details will be shared on our Events page as they become available.
