National Beef Sustainability Assessment Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is comprised of scientific and industry experts who guide the work of the National Beef Sustainability Assessment.

The National Beef Sustainability Assessment is a two-year farm to form study that will benchmark the environmental, social and economic performance of the Canadian beef industry. The assessment will also inform the development of a strategy to help the CRSB target its efforts going forward, particularly under its Sustainability Projects pillar of work.

The CRSB commissioned Deloitte LLP and Canfax Research Services to conduct the assessment. The assessment will also be reviewed by an external third-party panel of experts, and will be reviewed approximately every five years.
